Terms of use

Effective July 15, 2026

These terms govern access to and use of Arden Meridian’s public website, public-facing examples, forms, and informational materials. Paid services and the client application are governed by separate agreements where applicable.

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Arden Meridian LLC (“Arden Meridian,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to ardenmeridian.com and public pages, forms, sample materials, graphics, text, and other content made available through the public website (collectively, the “Website”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice.

If you do not agree, do not use the Website. Additional terms may apply to the Meridian Atlas application, proposals, statements of work, subscriptions, reports, data licenses, or other paid services. If a specific written agreement conflicts with these Terms, that agreement controls for the covered service.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be legally capable of entering an agreement to use the Website. If you use the Website for a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for that organization and that it agrees to these Terms.

The Website is directed primarily to businesses and professionals in the United States. It is not intended for children or for use where access would violate applicable law.

3. Website purpose and informational content

The Website explains Arden Meridian’s business, property-intelligence capabilities, methodology, example report structure, and ways to contact our team. Website content is general information for business evaluation. It is not a binding offer, professional opinion, warranty, representation about a particular property, or commitment to provide a service on any specific terms.

Descriptions of planned, developing, experimental, or configurable capabilities may change. Availability, scope, pricing, timing, supported territories, and deliverables are established only in an authorized written agreement.

4. Service inquiries and client engagements

Submitting a form, requesting a sample, scheduling a meeting, exchanging email, or receiving preliminary information does not create a client, fiduciary, agency, partnership, joint-venture, employment, or exclusive relationship. Neither party is obligated to proceed unless an authorized written agreement is executed.

Any proposal, quote, order form, statement of work, master services agreement, data license, or similar document may include additional terms concerning fees, payment, delivery, permitted use, confidentiality, intellectual property, data, warranties, liability, and termination.

5. Samples, rankings, and scores

Public samples, demonstrations, scores, labels, properties, maps, imagery, findings, and interface elements may be illustrative, synthetic, simplified, anonymized, redacted, incomplete, or assembled solely to demonstrate format. They are not client deliverables and must not be treated as recommendations about a real property, owner, system, transaction, or market.

A ranking or score is relative to the criteria, sources, assumptions, territory, and objective used for the relevant report. It is a research-priority indicator—not a universal rating, appraisal, engineering conclusion, inspection result, credit decision, ownership determination, legal conclusion, or guarantee of demand, interest, feasibility, savings, performance, or revenue.

6. Data sources, currency, and accuracy

Website and report materials may rely on aerial or satellite imagery, public records, parcel information, government portals, licensed datasets, third-party services, client-provided information, automated processing, and analyst observations. Those sources may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, unavailable, restricted, or affected by seasonal, technical, jurisdictional, or licensing limitations.

Visible conditions do not establish current equipment condition, legal ownership, contract status, structural capacity, electrical condition, permitting status, environmental condition, financial suitability, owner intent, or willingness to purchase. You are responsible for appropriate independent verification before relying on any information or taking action.

7. Limited permission to use the Website

Subject to these Terms, Arden Meridian grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to access and view the Website for lawful internal business evaluation. No ownership right is transferred.

You may print or save a reasonable number of pages for internal evaluation if you keep all notices intact and do not modify, publish, sell, redistribute, train a model on, or create a competing product from the material. Any broader use requires prior written permission.

8. Prohibited conduct

You may not, directly or through another person or system:

  • Use the Website unlawfully, fraudulently, deceptively, or in violation of another person’s rights or contractual restrictions.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, copy, bulk-download, mirror, frame, or systematically extract Website content except through ordinary browser use or written authorization.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, probe, benchmark for competitive replication, circumvent access controls, or attempt to discover non-public software, prompts, logic, methods, or data.
  • Interfere with availability, introduce malicious code, overload systems, test vulnerabilities without authorization, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Use Website or property-intelligence content for harassment, stalking, unlawful surveillance, discrimination, intimidation, trespass, fraud, or another harmful or high-impact decision not authorized by an applicable agreement.
  • Misrepresent affiliation, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use Arden Meridian branding in a way that implies endorsement.
  • Remove legal, copyright, trademark, source, limitation, or attribution notices.

9. Information and materials you submit

You represent that information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that you are authorized to provide it, and that our permitted handling of it will not violate law, confidentiality duties, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or contractual restrictions.

Do not use the public form to send classified, export-controlled, payment-card, account-password, Social Security, protected-health, trade-secret, or other highly sensitive information. A public-form submission is not treated as confidential unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Information provided under a signed confidentiality agreement or client agreement is governed by that agreement.

10. Outreach, communications, and legal compliance

Property intelligence does not grant permission to contact, enter, inspect, photograph, monitor, or transact with any person or property. You are solely responsible for determining whether and how to conduct outreach and for complying with applicable marketing, privacy, telemarketing, commercial-email, do-not-call, licensing, permitting, trespass, discrimination, and industry-specific requirements.

You must use accurate sender information, avoid deceptive claims, honor legally valid opt-out requests, maintain required suppression or do-not-contact records, and obtain consent where required. Arden Meridian does not provide legal advice and does not warrant that any list, contact detail, or suggested workflow is legally sufficient for your use.

11. Intellectual property and feedback

The Website and its original software, text, graphics, interfaces, report formats, scoring structures, compilations, branding, trademarks, logos, and other materials are owned by Arden Meridian or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws. Third-party names, imagery, maps, data, and marks remain the property of their respective owners.

If you voluntarily provide suggestions or feedback about the Website or services, you grant Arden Meridian a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and incorporate that feedback without restriction or compensation, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.

12. Third-party websites, data, and services

The Website may link to or rely on third-party websites, platforms, datasets, maps, imagery, analytics, hosting, communications, or software. Third parties control their own content, availability, security, licensing, and privacy practices. Links do not necessarily imply endorsement, and Arden Meridian is not responsible for third-party acts or omissions.

13. Availability, maintenance, and changes

We may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Website at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, compatibility with every device, preservation of any submission, or correction of every error. We may block access when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, compliance, or protection of our rights or systems.

14. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE WEBSITE AND PUBLIC MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” ARDEN MERIDIAN DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, CURRENCY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

THE WEBSITE, SAMPLES, AND PROPERTY-INTELLIGENCE MATERIALS DO NOT REPLACE ENGINEERING, STRUCTURAL, ELECTRICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL, FINANCIAL, INSURANCE, TITLE, APPRAISAL, PERMITTING, SAFETY, LEGAL, OR ON-SITE PROFESSIONAL REVIEW. NO CONTENT GUARANTEES A LEAD, RESPONSE, TRANSACTION, TECHNICAL RESULT, COST SAVING, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OUTCOME.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARDEN MERIDIAN AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, REPRESENTATIVES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, BUSINESS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES; OR COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WEBSITE OR PUBLIC MATERIALS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING FROM THE PUBLIC WEBSITE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). Liability relating to a paid engagement is governed by the applicable written client agreement. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain limitations, so those limitations apply only to the extent legally permitted.

16. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Arden Meridian and its members, managers, employees, contractors, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, penalties, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Website, your submissions, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. We may control the defense of a covered matter, and you agree to cooperate reasonably.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where federal law or another mandatory law applies. Any dispute not governed by a separate written agreement must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in North Carolina, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue there, except where applicable law does not permit that choice.

Before filing a claim, the parties should attempt in good faith to resolve the issue by written notice and reasonable discussion. Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief for unauthorized access, misuse, or infringement.

18. General terms

  • Termination. We may suspend or terminate permission to use the Website for violation of these Terms or protection of our systems and rights. Provisions that should logically survive will survive.
  • Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain effective.
  • No waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision or any other right.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the Website or business.
  • Entire agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Notice are the complete agreement concerning the public Website, except for a more specific written agreement.
  • Headings. Headings are for convenience and do not limit interpretation.

19. Changes and contact

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version and effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
